Final Cut Pro: This is the Industry standard software that is usually used by professionals, we used for editing our music video. Since wanted to create a modern video, editing techniques that aided us were transitions and video filters such as, Earthquake and Center Wipes. This helped us merge our different locations together discreetly such as the skate park and graffiti locations. As you can see, layering of different sequence made our video look authentic, as this is used in many music videos of today. When it came to editing our green screen sequences we had difficulty hiding the green areas and this problem was even noticed in our audience feedback. This ended up with us making changes, ultimately boosting people's opinion of the video. Non-linear editing was possible with today technology of the past, creating visually pleasing video through the juxtaposition.
Cameras: Using cameras such as Canon Legria Fs306 which is compact enabled us with portability to different locations, with the quality outcome a sound standard. This camera is not expensive, considering it is up to date technology that used as memory card instead of tape. Using this camera was easy as it is used in many households, allowing us to taking pictures and film on different settings; also used to record the director commentary, taking the sound and editing this on Final Cut Pro. JVC camera were also used during the filming for the green screen, three cameras that allowed us to edit on fly; cutting from different cameras in different locations in the studio aiding this was vision mixer and tricaster.
Green Screen: We decided to use the green screen as one our locations, as we thought it would add more variety visually. This was the first time for many of us using this technology, after trial runs we figured out the what were the best angles to film from, what level of lighting is best and making sure the green curtain fills up the whole background while filming.

Photoshop CS5: This graphics package software that is used by professionals and for domestic use, it helped us create the specific background we wanted, as shown in our video we were able to create moving pictures. Creating our album cover and magazine advert was done using photoshop, thankfully we were all experienced using this software and didn't come with much difficulty incorporating our research on this, consolidating our skills.
Internet: It allowed us to research and inspire us as our video developed. As we used Blogger.com by using the internet allowed us to document our progression is an easy and simple way, aided with pictures and videos allowing us to be creative.
Youtube was used as part of our research and was able to take a video and use it for our background for the DJ and Dancing sequences, keeping momentum with our moving backgrounds. Another site that contributed to our research is Muzu.tv, an alternate site to Youtube. In all technology helped us during research, while software helped us through he editing stages. In all, this digital technology gave us an advantage making production simple.
