Shooting Schedule

When and Where We Intend to Shoot

When: We intend to shoot the video within the next 4 or 5 weeks worth of media lessons at set locations. The reason for this is so we get it done with as quickly as possible to a reasonable standard so we can begin to decide on the best shots and edit it to perfection. This way we aren't all rushed at the end and will be perfecting our work instead of rushing final shots and effects. We aim to complete as many shots as we can and select the majority to suit the tempo of the video itself.

Where: Our set locations will be in the college studio for various different shots suitable for the video. A local skate park will also be used as N.E.R.D are keen skaters themselves and skaters are not a common occurrence in music videos which will make ours unique; so we will look to include skaters showing off there skills to fit in with the pace of the song itself. We also plan to use a handheld camera in a club just to get a good feeling of the atmosphere of a lot of people enjoying themselves.

(Relying on the use of props we decided to follow the not to follow the narrative since the pros out weigh the cons. We are going to film a jewelry stall

to show the glamour in our video, alongside with a creative idea

of having a colourful tissue box with american money coming out; pilling a tissue roll with lyrics written on.)

Production Treatment

The Music Video: - N.E.R.D - Everyone Nose

Duration: 3:36 mins

Audience: As our video has scenes of the light life in clubs with lots of references to girls activities we would say our target audience is 18-28, stereotypically at this point in life they want to experience this atmosphere; as they may have just legally been able to attend clubs or a typical university student attends clubs of a regular basis.

Resume: Amplification as some connection to song is in the video, the song is about many of the girls attending the bathroom with N.E.R.D performing in the club with many shots of the people enjoying themselves. The genre is hip hop that is fasted paced, we will choose to interpret this song in a similar way but focus more in activities of the girls along with skateboarding.

Suggested Elements: Performance - We intend to have many different women in the club, fixing their make up and enjoying themselves, we are using the performance of women as a key element

Costumes - Having a variety in dressing styles from classy to geek sheek, to make up running down their face.

Any SFX - Maybe the use of the Green Room, Text on the screen and Slow motion effects.

Key Locations - Planned to be filmed in a club, Women's toilets, Green Room and an Interior location of plain background along with people skating to enhance the atmosphere. Another idea is to film outside Afleck's Palace with the backdrop being graffiti, montaging clips of girls and their body language.

Recording Days: We intend to film this production in 4 to 5 weeks max.

Editing we plan to do in 3 weeks.
